So my Nexus4 order was backordered.

So my Nexus4 order was backordered.  So here's the next best thing.  I was able to get the following since I've been with T-Mobile for over 10 years:

- $199 with $50 mail in rebate.

- Waived the overnight shipping fee of $24.99 (as a credit to my bill)

- You do need a data plan of >$35/month on the line and a 2 year contract extension, however the standard plan comes with 400 text messages so I was able to consolidate a text message bundle with the data bundle and end up at $0 change.

- Retain the rest of my FamilyTime,@Home service and the G1 data plan on the other line.

And it will arrive tomorrow...

Paul Lindner I was going to walk into a store yesterday and get one.

11:00 on the phone with Tmobile, change plan extend contract. Tell them I'll go pickup phone in store.

11:15 called several stores and confirmed they had phones.

11:30 stupid scumbag hour meeting

12:45 last phone sold 5 minutes ago, sorry we couldn't hold one for you despite you asking and trying to buy it over the phone.

1:00 call tmobile to order like you did and she said phone shows backordered.

Benji Hertel  They must have some phones in a central location to ship..  Maybe ask them about that and request that you get the shipping fees waived...
