On a related note, why is KEXP dragging their feet on joining g+? I think Kevin and John would have a blast in here.
Chromebook? I filed an internal bug for that.
Now if only I could file bugs against KEXP.
Fun Facts: Kevin Cole was a big-time DJ in Minneapolis when I lived there and one of my colleagues at Six Apart worked with Kevin on the first Amazon MP3 store.
Pardon if I'm dense, but where does the "free" come in? Is there a coupon code? Or a sekret link?
It is even easier than that Mark Hudson, there should be a Free and Purchased link in the left side panel of the Google Play music interface. Once you click that, it should pop up a window that asks you what genres you want free music from. Select the genres you like, and click Done. Your page should list all of the free music now in your library. Here are some screenshots I just took of the process.

there's a special 'shared with me' playlist. You get one free full play when someone shares their purchase to their network.

I think they should Google App kexp.org, but that is just my opinion... They are a strictly uSoft house from what I hear.
Paul Lindner's answer is better than mine, Mark Hudson. His was for how to play shared music, and my reply was how to get daily downloads of music artists have offered up for free. I should re-read the original post more often... hahahaha
Steve Pirk -- not surprised about the microsoft connection, lots of Default.aspx going on there.
I'm hoping Youtube will do a live-stream with Bumbershoot like they did for Coachella/Bonnaroo. Maybe KEXP can get in on that action?
At the very least it would be cute to see Skrillex and Tony Bennet playing side-by-side on my monitor.

If you have any contact with the staff, tell them to hook up with me in g+. There is a kexp user, and a kexp plus page, but none of the staff names come up search that I can find. They have never posted or replied on either of the kexp pages ;-\
They use YouTube like crazy, comment on how much they love Google during pledge drives, but none of them use the other social tools in the Google toolbox... It's a shame, seriously. ;-]
I will put together a presentation on Apps, with a tie in to the Google Local stuff. It might help...
