My home treadmill has quite a bit of too-high structure around the front of it for easy deskification.. might have to do some warranty voiding.
The only result would be a bad quality code and no fitness gains. Besides the fact that treadmill is generally useless, any training could only be effective if you concentrate on exercise, constantly think about good form and significant effort. I'm a P90X coach, active climber and runner and know what I'm talking about.

What is highly effective for both men and women and what never would be boring is a kettlebell. Just twenty minutes or so and you'll get a super-effective cardio and core training. It's a Russian tool originally, but I only started to use it last winter here in US. The best system to start from is SKOGG System. Michael Skogg teaches proper technique very well. You can also buy a cheaper DVD by Jillian Michaels called Shred-It with Weights. To swing a kettlebell is not an easy task, I'd recommend for average man in a reasonable shape to start from 12 or 16 kilogram, for a woman - to start from 6 or 8 kilogram (it's a tradion to measure kettlebell weight in kilograms.)

Anyone want a leaky washer drain pump?
I'm a bit surprised at the so-so construction of the guts of my mid-range front-loading washing machine. The drain filter is basically a cup with holes -- which means that debris can get into the plastic pump easily. Oh and getting to these parts requires removing 18 screws and three rubber retaining clamps which means no-one ever cleans the filter.
At least I replaced the spring-clamps with proper hose clamps on the new pump.
I'm mad I know what this is before I read the article...
I've had to pull my pump as well because of junk in the pump. And, no way to empty the trap. No way to drain the system when it clogs. Seriously shitty design. Took me about 2 hours. A pox upon the ID folks behind this.

Frankly, Double Silhouette, his latest, is the album the Killers were trying to make with Battle Born – an epic, gorgeous pop album filled with arena-ready choruses. But he does it in a way that doesn’t make him sound pompous (sorry, Killers).

Ah I find the Lion to be standard kids friendly art. Basically it is aimed at the audience under 6 who they hope will look up at mom and dad and say "Why is Lion going away Mommy?" But to answer the original question I would have the first one in my office.. the second one in a playschool.

Malte Ubl T-Mobile and AT&T were supposed to merge in the anti-consumer ecstasy to make largest US-wide GSM carrier. Alas the deal was not allowed by the regulators, and in initial offer AT&T had "break-up" clause that gave T-Mobile some spectrum, cash and roaming agreement (was supposed to be used to prop up regulators to approve the deal "otherwise we lose soooo much" type of thing I guess)

Mine was so old that it was failing to register on the network, so hard to say what constitutes "old". I'd ask at the store though, the folks on the phone really didn't know about this.
Paul Lindner Yeah this sounds more like "worn out" or "bad contacts" or whatever. If it fails to register t-mobile used to give you a new one for free at the store (well, they'd charge for it and apply credit immediately). I don't think the "new" frequencies that are being transferred from ATT to T-Mobile will make any difference for a while as they'd have to actually deploy hardware first :)
I myself use Straight Talk (AT&T without the LTE part) so I don't deal with t-mobile that much lately (though might switch to Straight Talk T-Mobile sim if ATT data woes drive me mad)
